Mr Ackroyd is definitely a Katherine sympathizer and not an admirer of Anne if her final chapter is anything to go by.

There are several pieces of information that he left out which, to my mind, clears her of any suspicion. Instead, Mr Ackroyd seems to be of the opinion that she indeed may have broken her wedding vows.

To say I was annoyed at his characterization of Anne would be an understatement.

I am not ok.

Also wouldn't it be more embarrassing to bring a plus one that end up flirting and possibly going home with someone else than to just go alone?

I was disappointed the first time I read it but I really want to love it so I'm giving it a second chance.

I'm giving it another chance because, I was disappointed with it the first time I read it but, everyone speaks so highly of the book that I hope that I will change my mind and love it as well.

Dan is really f*cking pissing me off.

I don't know if I'm in the wrong mood for this book but I simply can't understand why Georgia decided to go on the show. It seems very out of character even taking into consideration the lost-her-job-and-was-left-at-the-altar (wow Paul is a dick). I would think that a person like her would probably move back home rather than go on a dating show on national TV where 50% of the contestants are trying to screw her over.
