Pretty monotone in its writing, but the simplicity is easy enough to follow. I'm not so much emotionally invested as curious. Either way, it's nearly 4 am and I am having some hard time stopping. I thought this was a YA book at first because the writing is just too simple. Makes sense for the character, however, Because she stopped her education at 14.

7% into 50 Shades of grey... geeze this girl has ZERO confidence and she talks down about herself constantly. I find that supremely unattractive, but I'm sure many women are like that and can relate to her. maybe she'll develop confidence later. The writing is not special. I've read erotica and romance that have started FAR stronger. I'm not emotionally invested yet. Maybe it will get better.

2:30 am and I can't stop reading!! Love this series!! Make it a movie!
