y’know how you break up a very large Donna tartt book? it’s 2 novellas and a cotton candy mystery novel

The classic order in which to read an author’s oeuvre is, obviously, 1 (the secret history), 3 (the goldfinch), 2 (the little friend)

this book was far too interested in being love actually (all the characters interact and interconnect and impact one another) versus exploring the actual long run impacts

This is not as fun and easy breezy as the last two

If you’re noticing a trend of serious book non serious book, shhhhhhh

not every book I read is mindless fluff (yall are lucky I’m not logging MWG and Hamilton and Hansen’s econometrics)

this is just excessive (all of the books were available from the library at once and I’m on spring break)
