The amount of times the word 🐱 is said is IMPRESSIVE. I can’t even be mad.

😬😬 I’m suspicious and I’m totally okay with it going the way I think it will.

There’s a lot of world building. Trials. Girl from poor community. I’m guessing some undiscovered magic.

I think the wife, Krista, is poisoning Blake, her husband, with a neurotoxin making him a lunatic. I’m not sure all the things happening are even real, but if they are I think Krista is poisoning him, Whitney might be helping him.

I really really can’t stand Zeke or Abigail. Huck 😭

Love that Laurel and Huck’s relationship is heating up but the spice isn’t ruling the book. Laurel’s sister is still a twat, not that it’s a surprise at this point.

Life keeps getting in the way of me finishing the last 8%. I will say, the book started with a lot of humor. 70% in the humor was no more. This isn’t a book that romanticizes the Gods and Goddesses. It is more a retelling of specific Greek Mythology lore and again, none that romanticizes them.

The way they antagonize one another but have so much tension is delectable. 🤤
