This is the actual book I had a hold for at the library (I mentioned in my update for the shippers) unfortunately this means I’m now reading like 5 different books 🫣 I might hybrid read this one as a physical book and an audiobook but we shall see

Went to the library to pick up my hold and I thought “let me just browse the lucky day one week books” and I saw TWO books on my 26 for 2026 list that I haven’t months long holds for on Libby. I only got one but I’m so excited to finally read this I LOVE Katherine center

I haven’t read this author before and I don’t expect to be wowed but I need an average book rn. I’ve had a hot streak of great books recently and if I read too many I’ll start comparing the great books against each other and they’ll be less great in my mind. Imagining eating the juiciest perfect peach every single day, eventually you’d get sick of them even though they’re perfect

Finished part 1 today after reading slowly the past few days! Still keeping my thoughts quiet but like I said before, I want the dates read on goodreads. Now on to part 2 too by Tuesday (to two too tue haha)

Fell asleep last night with literally 4 pages left until the epilogue 😆

I know i literally just updated at 80% please forgive me. I have decided this is too sad for me to listen to at work. I showed up today super confident I would finish this audiobook today. I had 5 hours left and I’m doing a lot of brainless prep tasks at work but I fear I’ll have to go back to music I want to give this book the proper reading ending it deserves where I’m fully locked in

I’ve been listening to the audiobook at work while doing my little work tasks but I think if I was reading this on my kindle at home completely locked into the story I would be sobbing rn. It’s so devastatingly sad and I think I see where part of the story is headed

I wonder if the author gave the main guy the last name Ashton because her name is ASHley posTON

Book club!! Will likely be keeping my thoughts pretty quiet about this but I wanted to have an accurate start date on goodreads

I have seen mentions of the book slaughterhouse five like 4 different times in the past week. Maybe I should read it (I have no idea what it’s about) this book just mentioned the quote “everything was beautiful and nothing hurt” which is also the title of a book on my radar and it was mentioned on jeopardy and I saw it on an instagram book rec post

This book is so unique and some of the quotes have been beautiful I’m really really enjoying it. A bit curious to see where it goes because 100 pages in they already have an established relationship and are starting to have very valid real life feeling relationship issues

On chapter 8 of this. I think I’m going to briefly pause my physical read of this (although not that long of a pause because my Libby hold is due back in 8 days) I want to finish another book I’m reading and start mistborn. Maybe I’ll listen to some of the audiobook at work though we’ll just have to see

Just finished part 2.2 I added up the page counts of all 5 parts (it’s on my kindle as 5 “separate books” but it’s really part 1, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, and 3) it’s 764 pages total and I’ve read 568. First of all, a 764 page fanfic is crazy long. Second of all, I feel better about how long this has taken me to read because it is heftyyyy

I started this like two weeks ago and didn’t even think to check goodreads but manacled was on here so I’m not super surprised this is. It’s a court of mist and fury from rhys’s pov and it is LONGGGG but I’m really enjoying it

My deepest apologies to anyone with this name but why would you write a romance book and name the main guy Iwan??? Not hot

I still have 5 audiobook hours left on Spotify this month so I’m going to start the audiobook and switch to the Libby ebook once I hit my limit. I read the first chapter the other day but I’m also reading an acotar fanfiction on my kindle (acomaf from rhys’s pov by ilyrian tremors, banger so far)

I’m not very far into this but I’m already so hooked and I’m loving the concept. It’s a romance but every single chapter is told from an outsiders POV (for example the barista at a coffee shop, a woman who got stood up a date sitting at the pub next to them, the girlfriend of a friend of the mmc) so fun I’m so interested to see how this goes

The final book I need to complete the “reidverse” (5 of her books have characters that will be mentioned/appear in other books randomly cough mick riva cough) this one is super short but I got excited about her new book announcement

I was not planning on continuing this series but I have too few Spotify hours left for a full book and this is short so I guess I’m giving it a second chance

Cranked through 67% of this book at work because the other option was just to DNF. It’s finally getting good and less confusing big wins all around but it was really touch and go for a second there

Lowkey forgot I was reading this. I got to approximately 10% on audio but I think I might swap to the physical book (or perhaps a bit of both)
