I am kinda hating this book and I would have put it down if it wasn’t the book clubs monthly read. It is the constant excuses as to why the main character is such an overall shitty person just has my eyes rolling time and time again.

Maybe I will try to go through this book again but I am tired of the Jesus crap

Ok I am hooked and have to force my self to put it down to get things done around the house 👏🏼

I got lost in the sense of I had no idea what was going on for about a whole chapter. The story is kind of all over the place but I am sure it will all connect soon and make sense.

I love the twist of the three young adult teenagers learning about the magic they were born with. They are not really learning from ancestors more discovering their ancestors and learning together the true power of the owens family

This one has been taking me a while because my mind needs a break. I was trying to just read from the beginning but I ended up starting over and slowing down. This one should be a slow, in depth read to get the full experience.

This book already has me pulled me. It’s sister book “Magic lessons” is one of my favorites so I have high hopes for this one as well. I enjoy the references to the first book and how wonderfully it is all tying together so far. If I end up loving this one as well I think I found a potential new favorite author 👏🏼❤️
