This isn't necessarily bad. The characters are well-drawn. The world dances between fantasy and medieval fiction with practiced grace. And the romance is believable. It's just that after Heir of Fire and how much Caelena kicked. ass, I'd forgotten how entrenched in details of ~love~ Maas can get.
