I usually read this as part of the complete "The Four Seasons, Box Set One", but this is my favorite story with its powerful message of redemption, forgiveness, and second chances.

I've decided to give this book another try.

OK now that I've re-read Books 7 and 8 so I've remembered Max and Gabriel and Sarah and Aiden's stories, I'm ready to immerse myself again in the best Comfort Food story! Yay!

I was invited to read this ARC by the publisher. I usually only request books by my favorite authors but this was recommended by one of my favorite authors, so I'm giving this new (to me) author a chance.

I've just finished the latest in the series and loved it but couldn't remember much about some of the more recent characters. So, I'm returning back to this book and then the "Touch of Magic" before re-reading the delightful and now my favorite in the series, "Snowed In".

I do not want this story to end. It's SO good!

This may potentially be even better than "Coming Home to the Comfort Food Cafe" which has been my favorite in the series for a long time. TBD but I'm SO loving this story! It's Debbie Johnson at her best.

Oh my goodness! This is SO good!

OK I'm only on the third page and I'm already laughing. Really looking forward to reading this!

Wow! An embarrassment of riches! Two ARCs from NetGalley in one day! Thanks NG and Thomas Nelson for this book!

Woo hoo! Thank you, NetGalley and Victory Editing! I've already pre-ordered the paperback but am excited to read it in ebook form!

Time to visit an old favorite. It's been too long since I last read this great story.

Just started "The Body in the Library", Miss Marple Book 2 and am loving it. I forgot how witty Agatha Christie can be!

Just finished "The Murder at the Vicarage", the first Miss Marple book and I loved it! I thought I had remembered who the murderer was but I was SO wrong! Anyway, a delightful, witty story with an "I didn't see that coming" ending. Now onto "The Body in the Library".

This was recommended by several people. Not my usual kind of read but they really raved about it so I'm giving it a try.

I've been binge watching "The Repair Shop" and remembered how much enjoyed this story with its own repair shop. Yay!

Thank you, NetGalley and Random House for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Thank you, NetGalley and HarperCollins!

One of my favorite go-to comfort reads. Yay!

Thank you, NetGalley and Thomas Nelson for this free audiobook in exchange for my honest review. AND as an added bonus, Tanya Eby (of "Fool's Gold" fame) is the narrator. Woo hoo!

Time to revisit my friends at the teashop!

It's occurred to me that Nik's transformation is in some ways similar to Eustace's in "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader".

OK, not totally free but Audible is having a promotion of 3 months for 99 cents per month so almost free. Also, it's only a borrow as I can only have it in my library as long as I'm a member. However, as an HP fanatic I've really wanted the chance to listen to this new version so I'm very excited to do so.

So much better the second time around. I just finished Book 1 and am looking forward to Book 2. I think part of my enjoyment is because of my positive experience reading the second series,."A Mage's Apprentice". Anyway, I've returned the library book and now own my own copy.

After reading "A Mage's Apprentice", I now want to go back and give this series another try. TBD...

I absolutely loved "The Spoken Mage" and "The Hidden Mage" and own both the books and audiobooks. However, I only sort of liked "A Mage's Apprentice".

However, since a master storyteller like Melanie Cellier actually had me rooting for Princess Ava after her despicable behavior in "The Princess Companion", I'm going to give her a chance to redeem Nik after his bad behavior in "A Mage's Apprentice".
