for a second there like 40 pages back i thought this was going into telltale heart territory and i got soo excited but alas

this protagonist is such a doormat except for when she’s being defensive and insecure. like girl no wonder your mostly autobiographical debut flopped

i’m intrigued about where this is going because at the moment i hate the way the protagonist is talking about changing the original manuscript, dear god how quickly she went from awe to disrespect

this girl is supposed to be a master at infiltration and deceit yet every two pages she's like "well i shouldn't have done that" "oh i fucked up" girl get it together 😭

i was about to be SO angry that would’ve been an awful character death. i was ready to start ranting. james islington don’t test me like this

i’ve never felt so lost and like i actually, genuinely don’t know what the “good” side is. this quote from an ANTAGONIST? my god.

i’ve been making a dent in this the past couple of days and i feel like i finally got the hang of it again, but the way the multiple pov is working where ALL the main characters are apart is putting me off a bit… i just want friends to be together :(
