Crushed by Raine Miller and her husband is a fun fast paced read. The story and characters are cute and I love the hockey details (especially from a players POV). Minor criticism: character development. Holly and Evan are a bit too perfect, so aside from some outside drama (jealous ex) and pressure (demanding boss) there’s little conflict. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Melting the Ice by Jami Davenport didn’t live up to its potential IMO and I ended up skimming rather than reading.
I found the writing repetitive and wordy. Nope, ⭐️⭐️ rating for me.

Dirty secret by Mira Lyn Kelly is a well written story with all the feels. You can’t help but liking ‘Allie’ and Vaughn and root for them. I even liked Greg... eventually 😂

Oh 🤩 and the tension between Quinn and George... they are up next in DIRTY HOOKUP and that book is so going to be on my TBR list!

Anton by Brenda Rothert is a slow burn romance with a lot of feelings and likable characters (wel except for antagonist Adam, who is an absolute 🤬). It’s not really my kind of book, but I liked it.

I fell in love with Ten and Mads but also with (most of the) people surrounding them. The interactions between each of them add to the story. Wonderfully done!

DNF at about 30%. I couldn’t connect with the characters and the story doesn’t interest me. It’s not bad, perse, just not right for me somehow.

I am hoping on some MM action as well as ménage. Kind of in the mood for that. The first time I only gave it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating. Until now I am enjoying it immensely, so I might have to rethink my review.

I’ve marked the next KGI books as ‘want to read’, but gave this first book only a ⭐️⭐️ rating. This seems odd to me. So I think a reread is in order.

How I love the Shadowlands! I have trouble putting this book down. It is already past midnight and I have to work tomorrow. So I’m going to be a good girl and go to sleep.

And Abigail Barnette dishes out heartbreaking trouble again to one of my favorite book couples. Damn woman, don’t you love them?!

Hmmm, I love the whole menage thing. I also love the MM action. But the drama is a bit much IMO. But what really rubs me the wrong way is the lack of knowledge about the BDSM lifestyle. Playing slave to atone for his sins and being Mistress as reward?!

Original I had picked the first book of this serie for this prompt. But I’m moved by the story of both Baylee and War. Two tormented soul, who refuse to be broken. I cried my eyes out at the ending of part one. So that one did shatter my soul.
