Im too close to the end to DNF this book

Too long. Like 15 chapters too long

How did I only just now start annotating this book!?

You really have to pull through the first 200-250 pages...then it starts to get good!

I really like how this explores how one goes through the questioning process of understanding their sexuality.

F-ed up and so mysterious. I know what the ending is like cause my cousin read it before me and told me but I kinda like how the story is progressing.

Spooky and really vivid imagery. As I've seen the movie before I've read the book, I can really tell the differences and similarities - it's well written and very well adapted into a movie.

I love the imagery and atmosphere that is created in this book, however, I'm finding it a bit of a struggle to keep engaged and interested in this book. It is way too slow-paced for my liking.

Although I don't usually love multiple perspectives, Foley has brilliantly done it. Really enjoying so far!

I’m not as intrigued by the third and fourth essays as I was with the first two. I will say they are interesting, however, my favourite essays of this collection so far are ‘Christmas’ and ‘The stage-coach’. We’ll see what I think of the last essay when I write my review.
