Um, say what now? I feel like I need to go back to book #1 and see if any crumbs of this nonsense were dropped from the beginning.

I’m nearing halfway, and I still feel like I’m getting exposition. The last 10% or so has felt incredibly slow, and hardly anything at all has happened. Dare I say that I’m…bored?

Hmm. I am almost a third of the way through this, and I am just not sure right now. It is still driving me crazy that she was supposed to turn in a draft and still hasn’t done it! Like she has major legal recourse on the line. I also had a hard time not getting a bit drowsy during the last couple of chapters…

This is really cute so far. Moving slowly, but makes sense for this story.

Finallyyy back to reading. I really like this. I like both of the MCs a lot. LK usually writes female characters I really like, but not always her men. Keir is one of her best, at least so far.

I mean, I knew this was going to be Ravenels meets Wallflowers, but it feels like this is already going to be less about the new characters and more about the old ones. I really like the two MCs…can we just have a LK that isn’t a constant reunion of old characters please? I know some people like it, but to me it feels cheesy.

Good start. I am wondering what nonsense is going to keep these two apart throughout the middle of the book, because I feel like they could have their HEA in about 20 more pages.
