Okay, HOW did I not know this book existed? This is LITERALLY exactly what I've been asking for.

Okay, first two chapters are... really good?! Dang.

I'm impressed by Tiger's ability to make me want to punch him in the face at least once a page.

Yep, totally seeing all of this in my head as a glitteringly 70s-esque shoujo fantasy manga style. I DARE YOU TO TRY OTHERWISE.

Hadn't read Kate Crackernuts before - AWESOME. Reminds me of Tatterhood with all the sisterly love and what, only Kate doesn't have all the magical fairy powers (or the spoon or the goat), she's just determined and resourceful.

2nd time I've read Silver Tree and Gold Tree, still AWESOME. (It's basically Snow White with polygamy, only instead of the prince saving the Snow White figure, the 2nd wife does. TWICE.)

I was startled this morning by a book in my freezer. I have some problems.

When cleaning the computer room: oh, I think, there will be a few books laying around. A FEW. Became. Two hip high stacks. (And the paperbacks were in a double row on just ONE stack.) I'm having a bit of a book storage problem... AGAIN. (I just solved this problem like a week ago. Excuse me, I need to go re-redispose of a monster now... *cries*) WHAT DO YOU ALL DO WITH YOUR EXCESSIVE NUMBERS OF BOOKS.

I cannot possibly add this book to my wishlist... b/c I have 666 books on my GR shelves. NO. I CAN NEVER ADD OR TAKE ANYTHING AWAY EVER AGAIN. WHAT DO I DOOOO.

Not quite sure why I'm reading this since I wasn't all that enthused by the first two, but something about them is soothing to my nerves? Also Tybalt.

Holy crap I'm confused. The problem with reading books in a series as they come out is actually remembering what the hell happened in that last book you read like over a year ago.

ehhh, not so impressed by this so far? STOP INTROSPECTING, jeez, there are other ways to convey info.

All I'm sayin' is, Anait is pretty much the best fairy tale ever? A village covered in words by the villagers! Seriously creepy fake priests! Forced cannibalism in a creepy underground lair! The clever, peasant-turned queen heroine ARMING HERSELF TO THE TEETH AND LEADING HER PEOPLE AND SWOOPING IN LIKE AN AVENGING GODDESS to go rescue her King! I am pretty sure I've never seen a folk tale heroine as badass as Anait.

"...the fake D glared at the Hunter out of the corner of his eye, but while he was doing so, he began to go into a daze and had to hurriedly face forward again. D's handsome features had captivated him--even though it was his own face." CRYING. OH KIKUCHI.

I am trying to imagine 2 Ds and a young girl playing rock paper scissors. My sanity is rebelling.

So far there's been an unusually high ratio of the absurdly disgusting in these stories... Practical jokes involving making a room full of distinguished gents shit themselves! Buckets full of semen! NOSE WORMS.

The print in this book is ridiculously tiny. My eyes are crossing.
