The prologue or first chapter or whatever the hell it was, was impossible to make sense of. Now I'm in a massive info dump of a second chapter and syntax and chronology are apparently things Rice has never heard of.

This is terrible.

Is this Gothic....comedy?

I'm reading this, Infinite Jest and Villa Inconito and of the three, the Tom Robbins novel seems the least played for laughs.

I want to bring Harry Anslinger and Colonel George White back to life so I can Annie Wilkes them for a few years.

Evil personified.

I'm not impressed. This is the second ADF book I've read and I wasn't crazy about the first one.
