5%/1hr in on audiobook and library took back, picked up loan late and didn’t have space in love to tackle this long one. Ominous, intriguing start. Will try again down the road. Unsure if I loved the author’s narration. The southern accent was throwing me off.

DNF audiobook left off at 44% before library took it back, on the hold wait list to try again.

DNF, was Libby skip the line ebook and stopped at pg 12. Too gruesome and violent a start for me right now. May or may not return to in the future.

Just couldn’t get into it. Fantasy isn’t typically my genre. Wanted to see how it ended, but not enough interest or enjoyment in the writing to persevere.

Nope, not for me. Told in the first person from this invasive, creepy stalker guy, I felt way too much in his head. He’s crude and warped and I couldn’t stay in that place any farther than 18 pages. Well written, but not for me.
