I’m actually having a blast. The history nerd in me is anyway. It’s very outdated but Norman is such a pro he’s continuously aware of the fact that it would be. I gotta come back to this later but this is great for post heads.

I miss this character. Any Sedaris was a nice treat. I owned this physical book and audio book years ago. It’s a fun revisit so far.

Some of this kinda drags but man, Save really should have gotten the Tonight Show, eh?

Helen Kushirck was the WORST! She certainly got handed some terrible tragedies in her life and I’m empathic for those but the way she conducted business, perhaps because of those tragedies, was abhorrent.

This is maybe the last book I had to read on the subject. So far, so great.

I came into this completely blind, and now I see what he is doing, and I find it to be extremely clever and riveting. Really well done.

This is well done and gets slowly darker and more painful. I wasn’t familiar with Jeanette’s Carter but this is a tale as old as time and brutally honest.

I guess it’s because we’re the same age and I grew up seeing him on tabloids and all the girls made sure I knew who he and his brother were, but I feel a kinship with Harry. I’ve never known much about him but felt like he seemed cool. This audiobook, read by him, feels like my instincts were right. He’s not-surprisingly out of touch, but has the best intentions and seems like just a good dude.

So so great hearing Q’s personal history watching films while growing up in LA interweaved with pure Hollywood trivia
