Super collection of poems. Classic book of verse by a powerful poet. An entertaining, engaging and energising volume. Themes are well explored and images captivate and invoke. I'd wanted to commit myself to reading Plath, for years and years, and my opportunity came along. She hints at self-destruction and I found myself trying to find the destructive in all her lines. What was in her psyche? She left us gems.

Facts behind certain Beatles songs. Wings songs too. All about Paul McCartney's dazzling creations. Lots of biography revealed; scrapbook kind of feel; questions answered about the songs' creator and creations.

Great volume. Wonderfully translated Bandi. Translator: Fenkl. Poems from the heart, about problems ... love .... and hopes shattered. Desire to break bondage. Bandi shines. Hooray, for his poetry.

A great collection of Neruda sea poems. He loved the sea, lived by it and prized his Isla Negra. Beautiful verses ... and the original verses, untranslated, read so melodious. I finished this book in one go ... half and hour or so it took to finish. I recommend it to all poetry lovers.

Great book of poems. Informative & entertaining. Bukowski writes with wit & charm. His style is exclusive & to be imitated. Sad that he's gone. This last collection rings a bell & takes the reader for a journey thru modern American human landscapes. Bukowski is dismissive & penetrating. We see loneliness, confusion, & the obtuse, hidden in the fabric of modern existence. Hats off to Chinaski!
