A good read at times, a hard read at times and a lot brutality.

This is an excellent book that explains all of the challenges the big 3 - Wilson, Lloyd George and Clemenceau - faced in Paris. I have taught a unit about the Treaty of Versailles many times and I still learned new things from this book. McMillan also writes in an interesting and not dry way.
