The fact that they continually refer to the child as Babygirl instead of calling her by her name makes me cringe, but the story itself is nice so far

I am one chapter in, and there is a character named Iris and they want to abbreviate her name to either I or Ris and I don't believe I have ever cringed this hard 😭😂

After intimidating me for five months I am finally trying finishing this series. So excited to get through this brick of a book !

While I don't understand much of the scientific stuff in this book, I really appreciate the humour of Mark Watney and the fact that they use Celcius and kilometres instead of Fahrenheit and miles

I'm 38 pages in, and the dad removed the door of the main character's bedroom because she went to a party. Which btw they found out by reading her texts. Oh and they threw away her college application letters and quit her jobs at the animal shelter and retirement home, IN HER NAME.
Also, she lost her virginity at a party to a guy she just met to piss of her parents

What is this madness 😂🤯
