Quite an enjoyable page turner so far

still quite enjoyable. Even more so considering 45 years since first print and has loose dystopian threads. I am willing to read the entire series.

Wonderful! Great find and hard to put down. A story that you dwell on after you do put it aside

In a word; frightening. The depth of investigative reporting is impressive but over shadowed by the constant jaw dropping realization of just how unprepared (and vulnerable) we are. This in spite of the amassed data/intelligence and increased 'trial run' attacks since 2014 alone.

enjoyable. I think that KJA is only a few yrs older than I, and this book brings to mind a Zeitgeist of the times.

The folks giving this 1 star for Mr Simmons promoting the 'obvious' right wing political agenda are on to something. I said 'meh' gave it my old stubborn "wait and see", and wish I hadn't. Once I read where 4 million birds die a year from wind turbines I too couldn't take it anymore. Wow! There be some haters just because of the political slant the author uses to setup the 5W1H for this dystopian world in which the story takes place? And for that 1 star is given? Don't let those trolls dissuade you: so far good stuff resides herein.

Good things found within. Some laugh out loud moments, but in reality I love this author

More names/places in a single tomb since Malazan/Tales of the Fallen. I get what's going on, but this was not the best introduction into Honor Series. I might have to start elsewhere as I have lost interest.

ah... about page 50 or so I see where this is going. Quite clever, but not laugh out loud to this point. A few chuckles to be sure

A little lighter on detailed police procedural than I expected, but decent pacing and a slow burn with building feeling of unnamable horror. Fuzzy lines between protagonist(s) and supporting players too. But It's been a good vacation read so far.
