It’s not changing my life but I don’t hate it

Lots of telling instead of showing. I'm not rolling my eyes enough to dnf it yet though. But we're getting there.

Oh man I needed a better book. This is so sweet so far

Not liking this nearly as much as the first one. The first one flowed and the pacing was a little slow at times, but this one? It's just dragging and the MC is being annoying (there's an explanation but that doesn't mean I like it.)

I have feelings about this book. Like I want to like it more than I do but it's a little disjointed and the info dumps take me out of the flow. The one surprise I've had shouldn't have been a surprise because I wasn't thinking. I don't know. Solid 3 stars though I think. Let's see what the ending does.

This book - 10 fire emojis for hotness, 2 sad faces for plot, 1 annoying face for fmc, 7 smiley faces for Bryan, and 5 overall stars because the sex is just THAT. GOOD.

Honestly not enjoying this as much. The MC has some insecurities that are pissing me off rather than being believable.

I need 3 things
1. This book to be over
2. Asa and Mattie to finally be together for a minute
3. a Tylenol from this damn stress headache

Still dying. I keep going back to the stupid reviews like i'm not gonna spend the next 8 and a half hours dying of stress while the audio plays and I KNOW THERE'S NOT A HAPPY FUCKING ENDING WHY DID I START THIS SERIES

The first one was good....sweet..humorous, etc. The second? Might be the saddest thing i've ever read. It was....beautiful and terrible and sad and still more beautiful. Had to take a break after that one

First book done. Not sure how I feel about this actually. Like it’s fun but also feels forced? Don’t know. I’m in too much of a reading slump to continue right now but it can stay on hold
