DNF for now

Really tempted to DNF this. The main character feels both too self aware and yet not self aware? And she keeps saying “I was always doing xyz” and like… that doesn’t deepen her character or let us get to know her actually. She has no strengths only flaws and that’s not good writing the same way it would be if she had no flaws.

This could be my favorite book of the year depending on how it ends.

I should DNF this but I’m going to finish it. The romance is garbo.

I'm so tempted to DNF this. I do not care about these characters at all.
