Some of these issues are so good but then there will be a few bad/mediocre ones in a row. I don't know how much I care about the gang war for Gotham and I am so sick of Arkham Asylum at this point. I've always preferred Batman villains that are bad on purpose and not just crazy. (And does anyone actually like "The Joker's Daughter"?) Overall this has been kinda disappointing, hopefully the next 2 volumes are better.

Just kill me now, I'm reading one of DC's 5 million crossover events and there is around 80 tie-in issues in this event. Having to bounce around from series to series is making me feel like my brain is about to leak out of my ears. I wish I could just download each issue into my brain instantly instead of having to read it. I could skip most of the tie-ins and only read the main story but then I won't get half of it.

This writing, worldbuilding, and character development is so overwelmingly good that I don't know what to do with myself. I thought I loved the first two books set in this world but this is even better. And now that I don't have much left I don't even want to finish it. If I finish it then that means I won't have any more to read until the next book comes out.

I am totally loving this. I was fascinated by the author's characters and world building in Seraphina and this sequel to that series is no different. If anything it capitalizes on it and has fleshed out the world even more in this. I particularly like that not one of the characters in these books is without flaw. They all have their vices and downfalls just like the rest of us.

I swear I feel like I'm going to be reading this book for the rest of my life. I don't know if it's because I'm in a bit of a reading slump or if it's the writing. It's not that I'm not enjoying it, I am, it just feels like it's dragging on. I should just force myself to finish it today even if I want to put the book down.

Finally making some progress on this book, hopefully I'll finish it over the weekend.

I didn't even plan on reading this, I was just going to read the first few pages but I got hooked and kept going.

This is so good so far; the writing style really sucked me in. In some ways it reminds me of Seraphina by Rachel Hartman. Both are rich fantasies told in such an intriguing way that it makes me wish I could spend a day with the author picking their brain.

I'm ecstatic right now, I've been waiting forever for Wadim to find his mate and now that he has I can't handle how cute and romantic he's being.
