I love Brené Brown. She is so fantastic at putting words to experiences that can be difficult to label, and that’s what so much of this book is about! Emotions and the language of the human experience, so if you are curious about emotions or the words we use to describe them, this is a good one for you!

Book overall is a thought provoking concept. Great to break down the messed up standards women face and challenge those automatic ideas that the patriarchy enforces for all folks. Book is mostly for privileged cis straight white women. I think many would feel very seen. Science is a little lacking. Author worked at Goop for years. A very validating book for many but probably could have been addressed in 100 pages.
