Confession: I lowkey have been reading each story in Will Arnett's voice bc the creator of BjoJack Horseman wrote this and BoJack is voiced by Will Arnett. Just needed to get that off my chest.

I realized Sittenfeld's writing style reminds me of Taylor Jenkins Reid's in its ability to sound so real and natural; the dialogues these characters have with each other feel like they could be conversations I've overheard. Not an easy task!!

Really enjoying this! Sittenfeld's writing style is just so...readable

I like this book. So much!!! I'm literally having to pace myself through it because I don't want to finish it too fast. 10/10 so far.

Have y'all seen the architectural digest walking tour video about central park on youtube? I imagine this author had to watch it too to get all this info. Hopefully one day I can see it all for myself!!

I'm loving the pace and tone of this so far. It's also reminding me of everything I thought I'd forgotten about anthropology in the real world.

I'm flying through this bc 1) it's for school and 2) it's really, really interesting. I've never read about adult therapy and counseling in a non-textbook-y format, so I'm eating this up.
