I cannot express how much I loved this book. It was like discovering Vance's Magnus Ridolph stories all over again. An author I've never read before? In a field I adore? Writing interesting characters full of mysteries with just enough hints at a deep world around them to keep me hungrily rooting out clues? Atmospheric success.
