this book is making me so happy

- poetic vs linear storytelling(reminds me of the god of small things)
- Poetry not as a genre but as a way of seeing the world, guiding philosophy
- to achieve authenticity, there needs to exist a natural/organic link b/w subj impressions and obj rep of reality
- distinguishing cinema from other art forms. Adding nuance and vague,cloudy forms of patterns of thought as opposed to showing simple isolated events
