Nope. Too many good books to waste time on this one.

So far there has been a typo or editing error on every page. Not sure I can read this one.

I'm so glad the characters talk to each other in this book.

I'm not sure how people have made it to the "great epilogue" I'm hearing about. The writing is dragging along. I like the characters and the story but not the writing. It's all tell and no show.

This is my second attempt at this book. I originally started it back in August. I had to stop because the teaching and school scenarios were too real and reflective of what I was experiencing at the time. I'm still blown away by the realism of the on-page classroom. All of these events happen in my room at least once, if not regularly.

There is politics, shifters and gratuitous sex. Let us forge on.

I've rolled my eyes a few times. With that said, there is hope and hot group sex. I'll trudge on for the good of all man kind.

So, when you reread a book, do you update your Date Read?

Now this book has substance and a whole lot of potential.

No show and all tell.

So far we have all the typical shifter book events. Pack Challenge? Yup Fated Mates? Got it Rogue Alpha? You betcha Something new? Nope, not here Shall I keep going?

Fuck, I missed Jake and Patrick. This book is giving me everything I loved from the first and more.

I like the characters and their story. I wish I was more invested in the story and not just getting to the end.

Ok. So, I'm pretty sure the author isn't going to screw up the sexual aspect of the relationship. (Wait for it.) BUT it's only been two weeks. A fortnight! How can you have a typical weekend in just two weeks? That's what we call an accident. Not the norm.

If the blurb hadn't identified one of the main characters as asexual I would be excited about where this book is going. However, knowing what I do about asexuality I'm sensing a huge misrepresentation coming. I hope I'm wrong.
