there's some other witchXwitch hunter book that came out when we were in middle school(?) written by an indiana author but was like really popular in the YA fantasy world and this kind of reminds me of a less complicated/intricate version of that

All of the other books have been kind of slow in the beginning- valid bc they’re so long- but this one has a steady quick pace. This is keeping me more engaged in what’s happening on all fronts with all character plot lines tbh. Having a good time overall!

book club w bae

part 2: Absolutely sucked in, I think both of the characters are insane. There’s a really fine balance of suspense and mystery being built up without being over bearing. It’s also so interesting how this is a duo of Alicia’s mystery and also the plot of his own life. I have so many theories.
