I got this book because I'm really into lucid dreaming, and I thought a book about students at a magic college having to infiltrate a shady lucid dreaming study would be so cool. I definitely thought they'd have to go into the dream world at least once. Idk if it's still coming, but I'm 2/3 of the way through this book, and the main character has not lucid dreamed once. But I'm still enjoying it! Looks 3 stars so far

I'm reading this because I'm working on a video called Rachel Hollis Used to Be an Indie Author. And my inclination was correct: I'm loving this book so far. I can't wait to read the others in the series. Rachel can WRITE. She's funny and her characters are lovable. I'm sad that she went the self help route & wasted this potential.

I JUST started this and already I can't stop laughing!

Loving the audiobook -- Michelle Obama does a fantastic job narrating it. I'm loving hearing about her life in Chicago as a fellow Chicagoan myself.

I'm enjoying this so far... a really imaginative world :)

the kind of book you just can't put down!

I think I've just passed the inciting incident, so it's hard to say if I'm going to love or hate this book (because I can already tell my feelings will NOT be neutral) but so far, this book has sucked me in so far that I can't think of anything else until I can get back home and keep reading!

The assumption here seems to be that all women are straight and all women want children. literally a sexist assumption in and of itself. hmm
