Okay. I know this book is well loved, and there are good parts fs. But she keeps putting a ton of REALLY unnecessary info into it. It feels like she’s padding an article length text with a bunch of random other research/interests to make it book length. Maybe that’s her point sorta, to have a wandering, languid convo but I’m not vibing w this.

So far this isn’t super interesting and it’s just kinda meh.

This book is a modern feminist tome. Our generations beauty myth.

These books are just genuinely not good, but they are easily consumable which has its perks. The other ones I at least liked a bit, esp the first one, this one so far is actually bad bad lol.

I love that the audiobook has recordings of his speeches and sermons but it is very hard to understand them. The audio quality is sooo bad

If you’re going to co-opt a concept and try to reinvent it as the next political era then at least follow through with the basics of the thing you co-opted smh. I like Ezra but this is so far a bit disappointing
