…we’re talking about a hunting knife someone is using to slash a car tire, not the Zweihander from the Soul Calibur franchise. This is a problem I keep running into, these jarring lapses in logic that take me out of the story.

“She only worked with male authors—not because she was a misogynist, but because her editing notes were so cutting that they’d reportedly caused a pregnant author to miscarry.”
