This is a brilliant book highlighting the life of a unique individual in Canadian history who had a tremendous impact on the cultural and religious landscape of Vancouver, BC. The author is writing in her wheelhouse, having earned a PhD in the history of rural Canadian women, and whose work since then has focussed particularly on women in Pentecostal Christianity in Canada. A highly engaging and informative read!
