Its the climax. Alina realizing that she's been tampering down her power is the climax. The inciting incident was when she was found out, and her conflict was all internal, her thinking that she would fail everyone.

Wow! so she's been holding her power back this whole time because she loved/wanted to be with her best friend. And now, she realizes that she can have her power, and lets go!!
And her and the darkling!! I KNEW THERE WAS ROMANCE THERE!! I KNEW IT!!

so far I love penny. I feel like im gonna love her even more as her character develops

Im tentative about what type of book this is. Is it a romance? a comedy???? Lets see how I end up liking it (or not?)
