Not exactly *the best* book to kick off holiday but….v intrigued

the things i would do to walk inside kuang's brain for a day because genuinely...HOW do you come up with such well thought-out allegory in Fantasy and still manage to make it accessible

genuinely annoyed that Life Stuff is getting in the way of me reading this 24/7

also very annoyed this book/series didn't make its way stateside, this is such a phenomenal spec fic dystopia

Have unfortunately realised that as a sad single gal with b*** f****, this book is maybe not ideal to read during cuffing szn

...so I really thought I'd get away from Canada stories for a quick second just to be absolutely humbled in the A/N wow ok

actually going to track ebooks accurately this year for the stats...

anyway have been intrigued about this book for months after seeing it as an option for at least one of my edi book clubs

cannot stress how high my hopes for this one are; bring on the 2010s fandom band culture nostalgia

somehow read over 300 pages of this in four hours and it's become one of the best books i've read this year

bton anticipation is real but i refuse to reread That Book so...

i think i'm a mix of poppy and alex and i don't want to think too hard about what that says about me

if everyone has been LYING to me about how elite this is, i'm going to majorly kick off

just need this to be better than rwrb oopswhosaidthat

no i'm not reading this on kindle, yes i AM going through the clarkston withdrawals (joe and ruaridh and sophie i miss you loads)

this is hands down one of the best reads I've had this year and if it's anything less than a 4.0/5.0 I'll be shocked

this is so so good but life has been Happening hence.....over a month on this damn book
