Oh, what sweet beginnings to what I already know is going to be a great story. These two characters are so endearing!

Ugh, this sure is an anxious part of the story. I need some heartwarming to cure the agony.

Usually, I can see plot twist on the horizon. But this one threw me for a loop! I mean HOLY CRAP! This book is awesome.

Started this one on my vacation. I have a no tech rule on vacation and all my MM books are digital :( But this one is pretty good.

I just love this author's writing style, thoughtul internal dialog/perception from the MC. And she has a way of telling a brutal story with maximum impact.

Gosh, this is certainly unique. The MC's are presented as YA, but with such gritty subject matter. Loving it so far, even though it's a bit depressing.

A gritty and depressing, yet intriguing start to this title. My first read from an author that's received such praise from my friends.

..."You're my lightning-struck heart, Sam of Wilds. I love you more than I could ever say."
And then he kissed me.

No no, I'm not crying, my eyes are just sweating! :D

So good, this story is. Funny, when I started this one, I thought I might have found a Klune book that I wasn't going to like. Now, halfway through, It might end up being my favorite.

Okay, okay. This one has it's hooks in me. Can't say I've ever read a story like this. At first the wackiness was so over the top that I thought it was just too much. But Sam has to be one of the best (awesome and epic) characters ever. I love him, even with all the zaniness, he's so endearing.

So I've read several of Klune's serious titles (and I freaking love them all!), this is my first adventure into his humorous side. Not quite what I expected, I did expect funny, but this is so over the top that it caught me off guard. I mean it's so far off the deep end that I'm amazed that someone can even think this shit up! That said it's hysterical so far.
