...And into the middle of the darkness. The book feels quite different from the two before him - and I don't know yet if I like it.

Benjamin is on page 52 of 112 of Night on the Galactic Railroad and Other Stories from Ihatov (Modern Japanese Classics)
The two first stories were beautiful! Miyazawa writes in a very lyrical way (although probably, much is lost in translation), that lets you really feel the emotions of his characters.

The plot is becoming more and more complicated. Instead of giving the readers clues, Sanderson likes to confuse them more as the book continues. And I love it.

Benjamin is on page 70 of 400 of Fruits Basket Collector's Edition, Vol. 1
Probably it's because I'm just in the beggining, but I don't really get to like this manga. Toru's behavior is very childish and there is a lot of unneccesary drama.

So far, it's my favorite volume, and it makes me think even more that in this case, the manga is better than the anime. The first two chapters - about Takemoto's tower and Ayu's childhood friends - are just beautiful, and I am eager to read more.

I like it so far. The plot is a bit more relaxed than in the previous volumes (at least for now).

Benjamin is 30% done with Strange the Dreamer (Strange the Dreamer, #1)
Currently in chapter 18.
Things start to get interesting. I've got a feeling that in two chapters, three at the most, there will be a turning point.
Until now, I really like the book. The characters, the world building, the story - all is greatly written, and I'm eager to read more.

Finished the first story.
Well, that was interesting. Pseudo-history, Sci-fi and Christian and Scandinavian themes are a very unique combination. I couldn't stop reading, and the ending didn't disappoint.

This is the most sarcastic book I've ever read, and I love it! Goldman's humor is great, and the story just gets better. The fictitious introduction was hilarious.

Well, THAT'S interesting! The parashendians killed Gavilar in order to avoid the return of their gods. What is the connection between Gavilar, the Way of Kings and the parashendian gods? Why didn't they try to negotiate with Gavilar beforehand?

Sanderson's world building is as great as always. I really like the way he described the parashendians.
