I hate that this hits home, why am i relating to a haunted house horror book

One of the things i like in a character is the oblivious to the obvious, i love whatever’s wrong with the main character to live through the horrors of her house just because of childhood trauma 💅

I started this yesterday and have not put it down until my eyelids were failing me

This book might just fix my reading slump

the words bleed through the pages so well

Right of the bat, voice is so distinct and hella hilarious

The fantasy doesn’t seem to be integrated to the story well, like i feel like it’s being rubbed on me in every page. There’s no magical feeling to it considering how much magic it’s supposed to have. And sometimes the characters’ bonds are explained to you too much. Let me feel that. But yeah will finish this one but slowly for sure.
