AHH! the writing for this is sooo good!

one of my favorite manga series rereading it for fun.

it's interested to see how different people write the mob. This one being gay is a big issue. while with The Yakuza Path I always wanted to make sure it was only a minor thing. So interesting to see different takes.

just taking a moment to admire how amazing this meet cute is written.

I went into this book not even reading the blurb and Wow... wow... this is so messed up. super wonderfully written but the so many of the adults in this book are horrid.

very nice easy to read story.... as someone with a very black heart when it comes to romances I'm a little shocked how light the romance is? I was just thinking there might be a little more?

Could Tsukuru and Haida get together? I'm cool with that

I've been watching to read this book since I saw the movie years ago, but it always sat a little 'too close to home.' well we know COVID has my mind so backwards where I think ahhh I should finally read that because it's seems almost vaguely a return to some kind of normalcy were kids didn't have to worry about being killed at school because of a deadly virus only...

.... I feel like a big snob for saying this, but the formatting is off. Everything is aligned left and not justified like every other book I ever read on my kindle. The jagged edges are distracting.

My uncle gave me this book when I was 15 or 16. So like half my life. I read the first bit and was horrified so stop reading.... well horrifying stuff is all around me and this book has stayed on my TBR list the longest.
