Part 1 is about the terms that I hear a lot and finally can visualize, like pre-frontal cortex & the limbic brain. What jumped out at me so far in my work as coach & facilitator:
1. No one part of the brain works well without the whole brain working well
2. 80% of neurons are in the the part of our brain that provide instinct & automatic functions.

It’s impossible to remove emotions; we must find wisdom in them.

Interesting!

It's an interesting read so far, marred only slightly by what I feel was an unnecessary dependency on one writing style: starting sentences with the word 'that'. Perhaps it's just a quirk that is my personal pet peeve. After reading two sentences on the same page that had similar structures, I had to force myself on the compelling nature of the story, instead of the author's 'voice'.
