During what is my second reading, I have just told my husband The Shadow of the Wind reminds me of Great Expectations and these two are my most fav books ever! I almost never re-read a book but have read GE at least 3 times. Fun discovery that others feel the same! I adore the dialog in SOTW and would love to find myself in the bookshop. Great story with every element of a good read.
