I've almost put this down so many times because of the way Hannah writes these women as men and diet obsessed. I haven't experienced that in other books I've read by this author and hoping the characters get more depth as we go on...

All of my Toni Morrison books became available at the same time from the library. I'm ok with it.

I take it back. I'm enjoying the letters. Clever.

Turns out I can't read physical books while breastfeeding (yet) so this one is going back to the library...will try to get an e-book for my phone because I was enjoying it.

If this whole book is letters I don't think I can continue...

Adorable. I wish there had been more insight into what Etta was experiencing and how she got all the details from Otto's memories, but a very good and touching read.

I hate this book and I'm never going to finish it.

Pissed off on the first page by the refusal to use inclusive language and the idea that babies thrive better in a nuclear (mother/father) family. I don't know if I can continue...
