For those interested in the Wrens during World War Two or a more balanced view of how a middle class girl faced up to the rigours of wartime London, this is an excellent follow on to the first book.

A wonderful But dense academic tome underpinning just how utterly central the parish church was to life for absolutely everyone in the Middle Ages. Recommended
