Okay, this year has been a bit disappointing for me when it comes to finding great romances. I loved two books by B.K. Borison, but that’s about it. Right now though, I’m so happy because I’m wholeheartedly immersed in this book, even though I’ve only read 80 pages. I have a feeling a five-star secret gem is emerging — what a relief to finally find something this good!

After “Bad Monkey”, this book also deserves an Apple TV+ adaptation! Bill Lawrence should consider this instead of the Scrubs spinoff!

It seems like this book takes third place on the McFadden mayhem throne, right after Ward D and The Housemaid! It’s going so well!

Oh boy. I hate to admit it, but I’m finally giving up. I’m bored—there’s just not much happening, and I haven’t connected with the characters. I don’t want to hit the DNF button because I love the author and truly adore her work. This is one of the most anticipated books of the year, after all! I think I’ll take a break, dive into a few quick reads, and then come back to it later.

Funny thing is, there is a line as “Piper, nooo!” made me laugh so much, and I quickly wished they offered Parker Posey to narrate this book! 😂😂😂

I feel like this book was written to cover major loopholes and to correct the far-fetched logical mistakes made in the first book. Anyone else agree?

To be honest, I had doubts when I first went into it, but so far it has exceeded all my expectations! Ready or not, here I come!
