While Douglas Adams' writing is delightful like always, and the subject matter is squarely situated in my field of interests, I do not find myself looking forward to picking up this book. While I read it I enjoy it a lot, but I am just not one for non-fiction.
I am determined to finish the book, but it will take some time. This is no book that one breezes through in a Sunday afternoon.

I am of the opinion that one could skip the first two books of this series, as they seem to deal with a completely different protagonist. As if the author decided after the first two books to turn the story around to a more epic scale. The books do become better each time, but Maas tends to over-decribe things and her favourite word is "incarnate": Death/Night/Oracle/Lion/... incarnate. I stumble over it every time.

I've read the book many times, but this is the audio book and apparently I do not have any opportunity to listen to it! Figures... I'd always rather be enjoying a story in a book than in this format.
Generally speaking though, the audio book is well produced, but I have only gotten as far as the start of the House on the Rock scene. For anybody who knows the book... this is fairly at the beginning.
