I'm a third of the way through this book and I honestly don't know if I like or dislike it, the writing, or if I'm just plowing through it because it's written in a way that is easy to read.

It's supposed to be a mystery, and one was presented in the prologue, but the antagonist has yet to be roped into it. Right now, her biggest mystery is "where is this couple who stiffed me thirty bucks."

This book is slow -- even as an audiobook. I'd love to finish it, but I doubt I will ever do that. Unfortunately, it's been YEARS since I started it, so I can't get a refund for the audiobook.

I got this book through the Reaper Bones Kickstarter, and am I glad I did. It's excellent, so far. :)

Decided to start this over. These first few chapters are hard on a sappy family man.

I need to remember to not start books so late. Good thing for chapter breaks, or I might not get enough sleep. The writing, so far, in this book is kind of sloppy. No descriptions for anyone or anything until after it's relevant. Hopefully it gets better, or at least tolerable.
