A friend gifted me a copy, so I know she likes it.

I should have read a summary though. The Meta nature of the book caught me off guard for a second. Lol.

I have to keep reminding myself panic makes people do irrational things. And that if they didn't there wouldn't be a plot. Lol.

Jess is way too chill.

Writing is pretty engaging. Makes me want to keep going.

Every story hits like a truck.

The fifth chapter ended on a strong note, so that's a good spot to take a break.

These stories are rough, but important.

Finished the first two stories and neither pulled their punches.

Finished reading the intros and taking a break. Gotta be in the right head space for this one.

Hooked enough to keep reading, but not loving it yet.

The pop culture references keep taking me out of the story. I know it's to implicate the time setting, but still feels jarring over and over.

I like how the stories steadily get more graphic and horrific. It's a nice build.
