Jean is starting The Night Country (The Hazel Wood, #2)
I am not starting this yet. It's the second book in a series I didn't start and I can't get the site to reflect that.

Jean is starting A Very Stable Genius: Donald J. Trump's Testing of America
I needed a break, after the impeachement, the SOTU, and the endless tweets! I will be so glad to see Trump go.

Jean is starting Typhoid Mary
Really good so far. Anthony Bourdain was such a good author. He did a lot of research for this book. Because Mary was a cook, he empathizes about her plight, because she didn't have to be hunted like an animal. She could have been given a job in a different field. But people still didn't understand that a person who didn't look sick could still be a carrier of disease back then. She was shamelessly pursued.

Lizzy's husband Tyler is too involved in his work (and possibly affairs) to go on the month long 20th anniversary his wife has been planning for a year. So she goes on it herself.

Ty's so busy with his legal career, and turning their college aged daughter against Lizzy, he is a snake. Without Lizzy, who he deems does little, he can't even work the coffeemaker. I hope she falls in love and leaves the jerk!

Getting there. Jefferson is a fascinating person. There's a lot to take in.

He led an interesting life, but it's long, so I'm reading it little by little in between other books.

Jean is starting Without a Doubt
Even after all these years, there is no doubt OJ was guilty. Many didn't want the football icon to be guilty. Black people didn't want him to be guilty either. So they ignored or "lost" evidence. Really good evidence.

David Lagercrantz is doing a great job with Steig Laarson's work. All the favorite characters are back, and the plot is a good one. I believe the original author wanted a series of 10 books, and Lagercrantz is feeling the moods and understanding the old characters, also adding some new ones.

Having trouble with this one. Too many characters, and not enough description to tell what clan or group they are from. Might return it.

Jean is on page 30 of 576 of Grey (Fifty Shades as Told by Christian, #1)
Wanted to read from Christian's POV. Don't understand the furor, in the end it was just a love story with a predictable ending. Except for Christian finally finding he was worthy of love.

Fell in love with these stories about Nantucket. It's pure escapism, but after so much Diana Gabaldon, I need something mindless.
