It’s fine but if there’s no romance I might drop it. I’m not *that* invested in this girl.

Still in reading limbo but I’m invested in learning Sam and Celaena’s story.

Imagine this new guy is the actual love interest and not the two guys I’m somewhat invested in. People kept saying SJM takes three books to get to the love interest, so my trust issues are high.

lol I know I have a problem when I am rereading/replaying so many passages and yet still speeding through this book. It’s been too long since I’ve been this addicted to the story.

The middle doesn’t have me as hooked as the beginning but I’m still loving every page. Just need the ending to take me home!

Apparently I’m in my romantasy audiobook era

It’s getting better. I’m slowly getting used to the villains being campy. Could just be her style or given how gory and violent the book is, perhaps it was advised not to make the characters too disturbingly vicious.

I thought Jack was a cartoonish villain but I was clearly proven wrong. This next character is bordering on the unrealistic with the all interference that is so blatantly focused on one person vs the entire campus.

The possessiveness is so perfect!
