This is really really good. It might just be my first solid 5-star read of the year.

Just finished Jar of Hearts and I'm liking Jennifer Hilliard. I'm considering 3 in a row.

I’m really surprised how much I’m liking this. There’s a cat-mouse-trope vibe. Twists and turns around every corner. And a story inside a story inside a story. I have no idea where this is going and I’m really enjoying it.

This is good. I’m reading the book and listening in the car. Can’t put it down. Can’t wait until my lunch break to see what happens next!

I'm only halfway through, but this book is an amazing thriller/suspense novel. Everybody stop what you are doing and start reading Verity.

I'm loving this book. It's a great whodunnit, but the best thing is that so much takes place in Summit County, early 80s. When the detective is at the Sheriff's Office, or a neighborhood in Bath, or the strip club on E. Market Street, I know exactly where he is. It's always fun to read a story with familiar surroundings.

This book has such rave reviews, I don't know why I'm not enjoying it more . So far, I'm just really bored with so many different girls to keep track of. Also, it keeps describing that the girls were "pretty," as if that makes radium poisoning so much more catastrophic. To me, its just a dry description of historical facts. I will give this book about another half hour before I give up on it.

I’m loving this book and am glad I have 400 or so more pages to go. I’ve never read anything by Elizabeth Gilbert before and now I understand her popularity. Her writing style effortlessly takes me into the mind of the narrator.
